Support Staff and Administration Employment Opportunities at Southern Oregon Practice Management

Scheduler / Receptionist
Provides excellent customer service to patients and providers in the clinic and over the phone. The scheduler/receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, answer patient questions, take messages for the providers, verify patient’s information, and other duties. The scheduling/receptionist team works closely with other team members to ensure the best care for patients.

Office Manager
Each office manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations by handling any situation that may arise. The office manager will be responsible for supervising and training staff in company policies and procedures. These positions vary based on need of specific location/clinic. Experience is preferred however not always required! If you are interested in pursuing a career in the health field, this position may be great for you.

Billing Specialist
The Biller/Coder position is an integral part of the billing department. The billing specialist will post insurance payments, enter charges for appointments into EHR system, send claims using HFCA forms and send claims electronically through a clearinghouse, clean claims logs, follow up on outstanding claims and request refunds. Billing/coding experience or certificates preferred however are not required.

Medical Assistant
The medical assistants primary function is to assist and aide the medical providers in the clinic. This position entails hands on patient care, checking vital signs, entering patient’s medical history into the computer, recreating the schedules into the individual provider EMR system, print out lab results, get x-rays for provider, stock and clean rooms after each patient, set up rooms for each patient, submit prior authorizations for MRIs, Ultrasounds, CTs and medications.
This position is a fast-paced position which requires multi-tasking and keen attention to detail.
